Under the direction of Dr. Virginia Killiam Lund, ET Wyman was awarded the RIDE Inside/Outside Grant of 100,000 dollars.
The proposal includes:
● Wyman Wonders: a pollinator garden and gathering space complete with a
water feature, native plants, and hardscaped paths and benches in the
northwest yard.
● Wyman Wanders: We’ll enhance the Wyman Woods trail by restoring native
plants and adding storywalk posts where curricular texts or student writing can
be displayed
● Wyman Works Together: The picnic area will be enhanced with new tables and
sun shades so that students have a shaded area to collaborate with peers
during the day.
Made up of parents, teachers and students, the Green Team will be meeting monthly as they begin work on the project.
